Robert Vicencio
One of the leading roles in the smash hit musical Miss Saigon, Robert Vicencio played the role of 'General Thuy' in 10 cities all over the world. Robert produced and directed All you need is?, a commemorative concert dedicated to the 20th anniversary of John Lennon's death.
Robert has produced and directed many cabarets, short films and video productions across the UK, Australia and Asia. With his co-writer in London, Thomas Schönberg, Robert was commissioned by the Singaporean Government to write Singapore's sports national anthem. He has recently released a Charity Single CD called Reach for the Stars benefiting abandoned children in the Philippines. Robert directed the National Geographic documentaries on Admiral Zheng and "Legacy of China". He also produced the sell-out show, Robert Vicencio & Friends – Bringing the West End to Shanghai. In 2006, Robert was Creative Director of Shanghai's biggest Fashion Show of the year for ABSOLUT LABEL. As an entrepreneur, Robert is CEO of AskBenny.Cn, which focuses on teaching Mandarin and other languages globally. In 2008, he wrote the bilingual "The IX invaluables to auditioning (& succeeding!)", which aims to help people with a desire to break into the entertainment world. More recently, Robert directed the feature film Distance Runners. Robert is now hosting his very own TV Show called "Everlasting Favourites" on ICS, Shanghai's International English Channel. In 2007 Robert directed the third production of Musical Moments in Hong Kong, and he has starred in the show for five consecutive years, including one show in Beijing and five in Hong Kong.
