Lighting Deisgn

Lighting Designer - Priman Lee

Priman LEE is a Professional Scenic and Lighting designer for over 100 productions in Hong Kong. He is actively working in versatile areas from amateur and professional theatre to Industrial and commercial Trade Show & Commercial Theatre.

Lee has received Master degree of Fine Arts in Theatre Design Dept. in Tisch School of Arts, New York University. With highly distinctive performance, he has received the Oliver Smith Award, Tisch Graduate Scholarship and World Studio Foundation Award, Best Set Design for Hong Kong Drama Award(2007).

Professional Member of Association of Lighting Designers, U.K. Professional Member of Hong Kong Association of Theatre Technicians and Scenographers. During in US, work credit including Off Off Broadway, Julliard School of Music, NYU Graduate School.

Lee has been extensively working in various stage productions among Hong Kong, from Experimental Theatre Production to Stage Musicals. Received a Bachelor Degree of Science in CUHK, Priman early Genetic Engineering and Microbiology academic background nourish his later design with thoughtful understanding of the Nature, particularly on its implication in Theatre.

Representing Design included Metamorphsis Kafka by Sand and Brick, Neil Simon London Suite, The Merchant of Venice, Prometheus Bond by Ding Theatre; The Open Couple Dario Fo; Musical Man of La Mancha, Death of A Salesman Authur Miller by TNT Theatre; Of Phoenix Linage by CUHK Alumni; La Ba Palais, Animal Firm, Dario Fo’s The Open Couple by The Nonsensemakers, etc.

Lee has been chosen by HKATTS to be one of the representation Scenographer among the International Theatre Design Exhibit in Prague Quadrennial 2007 which hosted by International Organization of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians.

Lee is also a Professional Photographer and Director for 13 Drama Productions since 1990. Lee is proud to join the team of the Musical Moments again this year after the flourish success in 2007.
